Complete site design of new K to 5 school on existing school site

The location of the school situated close to Ipswich watershed was the vision and inspiration of the site landscape to create an immersive experience blurring learning and play.

The highlight of the site design is the terraced amphitheatre with integrated blended ramp for accessibility that leads down a central stage under a pergola which is a hub for learning for and play. The dry streambed filtrates the stormwater from the surface parking lot into a rain garden. Age appropriate play, courtyard, outdoor classroom/dining, hard courts and open fields create a complete campus that serves as a community hub on weeknights and weekends.
