When we were initially contacted by the Trustees at Brentwood Court, their courtyard was overgrown with a random assortment of plants which unnecessarily filled the precious space at the heart of this community. Our design retained only one of the original plants in the courtyard — a beautiful mature white flowering dogwood, which restored serenity to the space by establishing a formal symmetry of soothing green foliage contrasting with the purity of fragrant white flowers.

We selected the lamp posts and a cloister fountain to harmonize with the gothic architectural character and included a drip irrigation system at the plantings to conserve water.
