Dilboy Stadium is a premier multi-purpose public sports stadium in the City of Somerville, MA, and home to several semi-pro leagues, community leagues and academic teams. Previous to the redesign, the turf field and running track had surpassed its life expectancy and was considered unsafe for the users. Both the running track and synthetic turf fields were replaced. Additionally, the Auxillary fields were reseeded with natural grass to be within the Bordering Land Subject to Flooding (BLSF).

A vegetated buffer strip was provided for additional absorption and infiltration zone between the river and the Auxillary fields. The project also involved removal of existing invasive species and rehabilitating the buffer area with native sustainable species to re-establish and increase biodiversity along the Alewife Brook.
