Junia Yang

Landscape Designer

Junia holds an MLA from the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where she explored biodiversity loss, the relationship between food and climate change, and refugee camps in Bangladesh. Prior to joining Warner Larson in the summer of 2024, Junia worked in offices in Chengdu, Cambridge, and Copenhagen on projects ranging from slow design studies on campgrounds to fast-paced design and built projects in the Middle East. She was drawn to landscape architecture through her study of plants in college and her deep appreciation for nature.

Outside the office, she is an enthusiastic traveler and adventure lover who enjoys jogging, hiking, and rock climbing (currently a lot). Her deep connection with mountains stems from years of growing up in a mountainous region in China.
